Application deadline: 22 June 2026.

Voice of Romni, together with the Swedish women’s rights foundation Kvinna till Kvinna, is opening applications for a leadership and institutional development programme for Roma women’s civil society organizations and initiative groups.

We know that our communities are home to strong women who support others every day, defend rights, and drive change. This programme was created to provide them with more tools, knowledge, and opportunities. We invite motivated representatives of Roma women’s CSOs and initiative groups who want to strengthen their potential, build their institutional capacity, or establish their own civil society organization to apply.

The programme aims to strengthen the Roma women’s movement by developing the knowledge and practical skills needed for the effective work of civil society organizations, the protection of the rights of Roma women and girls, and the implementation of positive change in communities.

What to expect:

▪️ 5 practical online modules on fundraising, strategic planning, financial management, and advocacy;

▪️ mentoring support in adapting internal standards and developing a package of key policies, including a Code of Ethics, PSEA policies on protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, financial protocols, and other relevant issues;

▪️ development of internal organizational policies and financial management;

▪️ the Leaders in Action training course on how to engage men as allies of women’s leadership in overcoming gender stereotypes;

▪️ a 3-day offline intensive for 20 selected participants to strengthen the internal network and develop presentations and project concepts;

▪️ the final Breakfast with Donors meeting, where you will be able to present your organization and project ideas to international partners.

Participation in the programme will help strengthen the capacity of your organization or initiative group, provide new knowledge and tools to protect the rights of Roma women and girls, and support more effective responses to cases of gender-based and domestic violence. You will also have the opportunity to establish direct dialogue with international donors, expand partnerships, and contribute to the development of women’s leadership in your community.

Participation in the programme is free of charge. Application deadline: 22 June 2026.
