Voice of Romni is opening enrollment for a new training group in basic cleaning services in Uzhhorod
Based on the results of the first course, we saw that training in cleaning services gives women practical skills and an opportunity to try themselves in a new field, gain a quick profession with the possibility of official employment in the future, or work as self-employed professionals.
Participants in the previous group have already successfully completed the programme and gave it very positive feedback. That is why we want to make this training available to even more women who are interested.
The programme combines both theoretical and practical training. During the first stage, participants complete basic training at the local Voice of Romni community space in Uzhhorod, where they learn the fundamentals of cleaning services, the tools used in the profession, and practical approaches to the work. The next stage focuses on applying this knowledge in real-life settings, including social cleaning activities in urban spaces, residential buildings, social institutions, and other facilities.
“The first day was fully dedicated to theory. We manage to cover all the main modules, all types and formats of cleaning. All the remaining days are 70–80% practice and no more than 20–30% theory. We go over what we already know, review that knowledge, and put it into practice. Many participants had never even considered cleaning as a profession or a field of work. But after attending the first session, they realised that it truly can be a profession,” said Anastasiia Kulakova, trainer in cleaning services.

Our training courses are designed to be as effective and practical as possible. Participants spend most of their time developing skills and gaining real experience that they can apply immediately. This kind of training helps women acquire new knowledge, start earning an income, and make decisions in their lives with greater confidence. We want to support them in their development, provide them with the right tools, and strengthen their belief in their own abilities so that they can become economically independent.
We invite Roma women and women from other vulnerable groups to apply. To register, please fill in the application form using the link or call: 📲 068 814 24 92
