During the 69th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women, our organization has initiated a closed International Dialogue of Roma Women Leaders, taking place today and bringing together representatives from Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Germany, the USA, and the United Kingdom.

We aim to strengthen collaboration among Roma women leaders and discuss key challenges and opportunities for our communities:

• International cooperation and support;

• The difficulties Roma women face in different countries and strategies to overcome them;

• Successful initiatives for economic empowerment and women’s leadership;

• A collective response to the global gender equality crisis and the reduction of funding for women’s organizations.
