Registration is now open for priority cash assistance for people living near the frontline (UCT 1)
Voice of Romni, with support from the Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH), is opening registration for priority cash assistance for vulnerable people living near the front line.
We know that today, support matters for so many people. The war has changed the lives of millions of Ukrainians. Some have lost their homes, others their jobs, and for many, it’s becoming harder every day to provide their families with basic necessities.
Voice of Romni has worked alongside the Roma community for many years, and we know firsthand the hardships it faces most acutely. We continue this support and, as always, stand ready to help those in difficult circumstances.
Please note: Applications are accepted only from residents of Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv (cities only — registration is not available for residents of other towns or regions under this project).
The assistance amounts to 10,800 UAH per registered household member, paid as a one-time payment. This sum is calculated to cover basic needs for six months.
Please note the following participation conditions:
- This payment is intended for those who have not received cash assistance from international organizations, foundations, or humanitarian missions within the past 6 months.
- Original documents must be brought to registration.
Spots are limited. Applications will be accepted until 5:00 PM on August 21. The organization reserves the right to close registration early and will announce this in advance if needed.
Submitting an application and completing registration does not guarantee that assistance will be received. Once registration closes, all applications are reviewed and assessed according to program criteria, and applicants are then selected based on available funding. Selection is based on an assessment of vulnerability and living conditions, with priority given to households with the greatest needs.
If you or your loved ones are currently facing a difficult situation, please reach out. Our goal is to make sure assistance reaches those who truly need it. Registration is by phone appointment only. When you call, you’ll provide your details and be given a date and time for your visit, along with a list of documents to prepare. This system is in place for your safety, to avoid crowding at the office.
Please do not come without a prior appointment. Contact us at:
Zaporizhzhia: +380501393604
Kharkiv: +380501393616
Phone registration is open now. In-office appointments for pre-registered applicants will begin on August 3. Walk-ins without a prior appointment cannot be accepted.
If you are planning to evacuate or have already relocated to another community, please let us know during registration. This helps avoid duplicate assistance and any confusion about further participation in the program.
