Professional Training Courses: How One Friend’s Advice Changed Yuliia Haivoronska’s Life
Yuliia is 35 years old and a mother of two daughters – Vitalina and little Adelina. The family lives in Merefa in the Kharkiv region.
Yuliia registered for professional training courses organized by Voice of Romni with the support of CARE Ukraine, where she learned the profession of a hairdresser.
“I found out about these courses from a friend. She advised me to try them and learn more. I had always wanted to master this profession. And now I was given such an opportunity, so I took it,” the woman shares.

From the very first classes, Yuliia felt support and confidence. For many women, this often becomes a decisive factor.
“What I remember most is our friendly atmosphere and the moment when I did my first hair colouring on my model,” Yuliia recalls.
Moments like these are inspiring, as they help women discover new sides of themselves. They begin to realise that they are capable of far more than they had ever imagined.
“My dream is to open my own salon or work in a good hair salon, bringing beauty and a joyful mood to people. I am very grateful to Voice of Romni for providing this opportunity to learn and for their dedication to their work,” she concludes.

We sincerely rejoice when we see their confidence growing and their skills improving – women become true professionals in their field. That is why we continue to support them in learning and development, as we see this as the foundation of a stable and dignified future for families and communities.
