Our longtime partners from Kindernothilfe (KNH) visited the Voice of Romni head office in Uzhhorod
We had the honor of welcoming our longtime partners from Kindernothilfe (KNH) at the Voice of Romni head office in Uzhhorod.
This visit holds special meaning for us, as it was a chance to show not just reports and presentations, but the everyday life of our children’s space, which operates thanks to KNH’s support. This is where children learn, discover new opportunities, make friends, receive psychological support, and feel safe.
During the visit, our partners experienced the everyday rhythm of our children’s space firsthand: they attended an English language class, spoke with our psychologist, and sat in on an acting workshop. They also had the chance to meet the organization’s team and learn more about how our various programs work and how our projects and initiatives come to life each day.

Voice of Romni President Anzhelika Bielova spoke about the key areas of our work, the results of our many years of cooperation with KNH and other partners, and shared her vision for the organization’s development in the years ahead.
With KNH’s support, we have been able to implement important projects that strengthened the organization’s institutional capacity and expanded the reach of our children’s and youth spaces across various regions of Ukraine. Today, children can attend educational classes free of charge, prepare for the National Multi-Subject Test, take part in dance and acting classes, receive psychological support, and grow and develop in every way.

The summer camps for vulnerable families hold a special place in the history of our partnership. KNH was the first to believe in this initiative and support it. Over the course of three years (2023–2025), our joint work has allowed hundreds of mothers and their children to feel safety, care, and support — and to restore their inner strength, if only for a little while.
A separate part of the visit included a stop at a compact Roma settlement in Uzhhorod, where our partners had the opportunity to speak with community residents and gain a deeper understanding of their needs. Together, we discussed the challenges Roma families face today and outlined the next steps in our cooperation.
We sincerely thank the Kindernothilfe team for their trust, openness, and years of support. Visits like this one help us not only take stock of our shared work, but also set new priorities together and create even more opportunities for the development of children, youth, and their families affected by the war.
