Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!
Bakhtalo Krechuno! Bakhtalo Nevo Bersh!
Dear Roma community, friends, and partners of Voice of Romni – to everyone who has stood with us in 2025,
We sincerely wish you a blessed Christmas and a happy New Year. Even in the darkest times, these holidays bring light, warmth, hope, faith, and love into our lives. This is a time of unity and mutual support.
The year now ending has once again brought loss and suffering to millions of people in Ukraine. It has tested our resilience and our sense of responsibility, our humanity. Yet even in these difficult circumstances, we have felt an incredible power of solidarity. With every project and every initiative, we knew we had a reliable backbone of support to lean on in challenging moments.
Support did not disappear, trust remained, and partnership became a source of strength. We are grateful to Roma leaders, activists, and volunteers, to representatives of state institutions and civil society organizations for your daily work and shared responsibility. We thank our Ukrainian and international partners and donors for your cooperation and commitment to our common values. Together with you, we have supported communities, women, children, and families – thousands of people in the most difficult circumstances.
Throughout this challenging, demanding year, the Roma community in Ukraine has once again demonstrated resilience and a strong commitment to being an active part of Ukrainian society. Our contribution to the common struggle for independence and to the future just reconstruction of Ukraine is important and visible. We choose to walk this path together with all Ukrainians, alongside representatives of national communities and Indigenous peoples. This is the road toward Ukraine’s European future.
In the new year 2026, we wish you peace, inner strength and resilience, love, and support. May the Christmas star bring light to every home, and may the coming year be generous, filled with kindness and good deeds.
