Housing Repair
In 2024, Voice of Romni, in collaboration with OXFAM, implemented an essential project — “Minor Repairs.” As part of this initiative, we renovated 50 homes inhabited by Roma families, including people in hardship, internally displaced persons, those who have hosted IDPs, low-income families, large families, families with young children, and individuals from other vulnerable categories.
Our primary focus was to ensure that at least one room in each house was made warm and livable for the winter. Projects like this are of great importance, as they provide basic living conditions for people facing difficult circumstances due to the war. Supporting families from the Roma community helps address their most urgent needs and improves conditions for their safety and health.
