Development of Roma NGOs

The development of Roma non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is critically important for bringing about long-term changes in Roma communities. Strengthening their capacity enables Roma men and women to effectively address the challenges facing their communities, defend their rights, and amplify their voices at all levels. This fosters sustainable development, social integration, reduced isolation, and improved quality of life.

For this reason, our organization has made the development of Roma NGOs a priority. Voice of Romni aims to strengthen the capacity of Roma NGOs so they can effectively represent their community’s interests, protect Roma rights, and implement socially significant projects.

We support young activists by creating opportunities for education and inclusion in decision-making processes. To equip them with the skills necessary for effective community work, we organize training sessions and develop educational programs in areas such as advocacy, project management, resource mobilization, and communications.

By engaging other civil society organizations in important discussions, we foster sustainable partnerships and build a network of Roma leaders and activists. This network allows for the exchange of experiences, the establishment of collaborations, and collective problem-solving for the challenges faced by our community.

We are confident that by joining forces, we can effectively overcome obstacles and ensure a fair and high-quality recovery for Ukraine. Together, we can create an inclusive and sustainable future for Roma communities and beyond.
